The Atlanta Track Club signed seven new faces to their Elite Team in pursuit of their Olympic 2020 goals. Coached by 2008 Olympian Amy Begley and Andrew Begley, ATC push into qualifying season with a, “Best foot forward,” mentality.
Long Island native, Maegen Krifchin, 28, is one such signing and a distance specialist. In February she placed seventh in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. Her current personal best is a whopping 1:09:51 (Completed in 2015 at the Rock and Roll Philadelphia Marathon).
Atlanta Track club also adds two 800m runners (Megan Malasarte, Patrick Peterson), Two Steeplechase specialists (Rob Mullett, Carmen Graves), and twin brothers Jim Rosa and Joe Rosa, recent grads of Stanford University.
In only its second year of existence, Atlanta Track Club Elite, sets its sights high on Olympic glory!
